Services

Sessions from home

Families in Nevada for whom the car ride, the door or the waiting room is the hardest part, and children who talk more when no one is looking at them.

  • What a session looks like

You join from home with a link. The camera can stay off for the whole session. Your child can talk while drawing, building or holding a toy out of frame, and a parent can sit nearby.

  • How we work

The same clinicians, the same pace and the same plain explanations as in the room. Your clinician checks at the start how your child wants the session to go.

  • What this is not

Sessions from home are not for a crisis. They are only for families in states where we are licensed: today, Nevada.

Practical

Length, cost and next step

  • Length and pace

Child sessions are 45 minutes and parent sessions 50. Your clinician sets the pace with you.

  • How it is paid

You pay for each session yourself, and we give you an itemized receipt in case your plan reimburses part of it. Your clinician gives the fee in writing before you start.

Questions

Three questions about this service

Can my child keep the camera off by video?

Yes. The camera can stay off for the whole session, and your child can talk while drawing or playing out of frame. If your child wants it on later, that is also fine.

Are you licensed where I live?

Our licenses are from Nevada. By video we see families in states where we are licensed: today, Nevada. Your child and you must be in Nevada during the session.

What do I do in a crisis?

Call or text 988, any time. In an emergency, call 911. This site and our messages are not monitored around the clock, so do not use them to reach us in a crisis.

Ready to talk it through?

Tell us about your child in your own words. You do not need to say more than you want to.
