Parent sessions
Parents and caregivers raising an autistic or ADHD child who want a place to think out loud and plan, without the child in the room.
What a session looks like
You meet with your clinician on your own, in the room or by video. You bring the list: mornings, bedtime, school meetings, a sibling who feels left out. You leave with a plan you chose.
How we work
Your clinician listens first, then helps you plan around what your child already does well. Parent sessions can run alongside child sessions or on their own.
What this is not
Parent sessions are not an evaluation of your parenting or of your child, and they are not couples therapy. We do not write letters for custody matters.

Practical
Length, cost and next step
Length and pace
Sessions are 50 minutes, weekly or every other week. Your clinician sets the pace with you.
How it is paid
You pay for each session yourself, and we give you an itemized receipt in case your plan reimburses part of it. Your clinician gives the fee in writing before you start.
How fees workWhat to do next
Write to us with the times that suit your family. We will send the room guide, and you decide whether to book a first session.

Questions
Three questions about this service
How much does it cost, and can I use an HSA or FSA card?
Your clinician gives you the fee in writing before you start, and you pay at the end of each session by card. HSA and FSA cards work. A limited number of reduced-fee spots are open; ask how to request one.
What is confidential, and what are the limits?
What your child shares stays in the session, with limits the law sets. If someone is at serious risk of harm, or abuse of a child is suspected, your clinician may have to tell others. We explain this in writing before you start, and agree with you what we share about each session.
How often, and for how long?
Child sessions are 45 minutes and parent sessions 50. Most families come weekly or every other week. Your clinician sets the pace with you, and we do not promise a number of sessions.
Ready to talk it through?
